Ronald "Ronnie" Jackson, 14, was gunned down Sunday night in Upton, the West Baltimore neighborhood where he grew up, while delivering grapefruit to an elderly neighbor.
Police don't know of a motive or suspect in the slaying. His relatives believe he was shot in a case of mistaken identity. Within 12 hours of his death, they opened their doors to the Baltimore media to express their pain and outrage. (See the story I wrote for The Baltimore Sun.
